Water coming in?
Call now.
Don't fill out a form. Call us — an active leak gets triaged ahead of scheduled work, and after-hours emergency calls are available.

Five steps from your call to a dry building.
Emergency roofing has an order of operations. Anyone who skips straight to a permanent repair in the middle of a storm is doing it wrong.
You call
(260) 422-9529. Tell us the address, what you're seeing, and what's underneath — inventory, equipment, occupied space.
We triage
Some leaks need a crew tonight; some are safe until morning and cost you less if they wait. We'll tell you honestly which one you have.
Temporary dry-in
First priority is stopping water. Patches, tarps, temporary membrane — whatever makes the building safe and dry right now.
Documentation
We photograph conditions while the evidence is fresh, which is what your insurance carrier will want and what nobody remembers to do in the middle of a storm.
Permanent repair
Scheduled once weather allows, with a written scope. The emergency fix is never the final fix.
Four things that limit the damage.
- 01Move inventory, equipment, and electronics out from under the active drip — water spreads laterally along the deck before it comes through.
- 02Put containers under the leak and pull ceiling tiles away so water doesn't pool above the grid and collapse it.
- 03Kill power to any circuit or fixture the water is reaching. Don't investigate a wet electrical panel.
- 04Photograph everything — the ceiling, the floor, the affected contents. Your carrier will ask, and the photos are easiest to take now.
Please don't go up on a wet roof yourself. Falls are the leading cause of death in construction, and the roof that's leaking is the one that's slick.
When one storm overwhelms every local contractor.
A wide hail or wind event does not damage one building — it damages hundreds at once, and every roofer in the county books out for weeks in a single afternoon.
Being part of Tecta America changes that math. With more than 100 locations and 4,500 roofing professionals nationwide, crews and material can be mobilized into the region rather than rationed within it.
Then the form is fine.
If the leak is contained, the damage has already happened, or you're planning ahead — send the details and we'll follow up in the next business day.
Keep this number somewhere.
Tell us about the building. A member of the Fort Wayne team follows up, usually within one business day.
